Location is quite central, less than 10mins walk to Mirabell Gardens, abt 20mins walk to Old Town (leisurely pace). Hotel is clean, modern & comfortable. as expected of the NH group. I’m a seasoned business traveller and have stayed in NH hotels in other parts of the world. What impressed me most & compelled me to write this review (I don’t usually write reviews) is the service of their staff, esp Emilie and a gentleman from South Africa (I think, didn’t get his name. works the night shift during 18-21 Feb’23.). Emilie went over and beyond what’s expected of her job scope and provided such excellent service with genuine warmth, she really made our first visit to Salzburg City an unforgettable one… thank you very much!

The experience exceeded expectations! The location is the best, you are right next to the pedestrian area to get to the water and enjoy the surroundings. The location near the large sunken garage also guarantees that you will have somewhere handy to leave your car when the hotel garage is full (it's really tiny). The room was up to standard and everywhere was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very good. Especially the traditional Austrian dessert with really vanilla sauce or a straight piece of Sacher sweetened my day.

Breakfast was one of the best we've come across. An excellent selection. The staff were extremely helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and tidy. Less than 100yds from Linzer Gasse a main shopping street and only a 10 minute walk to the old town which is across the other side of the river Salzach. Book Gastoff Alter Fuchs in Linzer Gasse (less than five minutes from the hotel) for an authentic Austrian meal in a lively pub type setting. The food was excellent. Have a coffee in Cafe Konditorei Furst in the old town the pastries are wonderful.

The room was a medium size, but felt about right and nothing was missing. The options and variety in the breakfast buffet were plenty and tasteful. In this hotel you are a few steps away from the main shopping area, so the location feels great. Finally the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.

EV Charging and secure parking. - we had bikes in our boot. We stayed at 3 NH collection hotels on our trip. In each case all the people on reception were very friendly but the arrival process seemed very time consuming and c opmplicated and not all staff seemed to be fully trained
